For the renewal of the quay wall in the Belgian Zeebrugge, the temporary joint venture Depret - Besix chosen a APE Model 600B hammer to install the 92 piles of Ø2.020mm.

The last piles on the Helwin offshore project were installed successfully. The pictures below show the installation of the last piles for the Cable Access Tower. After the installation of these piles, the APE Tandem Super Kong is going to work on the Borwin base frame installation.

In the port of Antwerp Beglium (Doeldok), near the town of Verrebroek a quay wall is being constructed for the mooring of seagoing vessels. The quay wall has a total length of ± 300 meters and is being constructed as a combi wall which consists of steel tubes ø 1.680 mm with sheetwall sheets between them. CAPE Holland was awarded the rental job for an S-90 hydrohammer, which is being used to pile anchor piles (MV piles) under an angle of 45° (1:1 raked).

CAPE Holland is proud to announce it has been awarded for a purchase contract for an APE Model 600 Tandem vibratory hammer set (Tandem Super Kong). For the installation of the Helwin 1 and BorWin 2 base frames Seaway Heavy Lifting will use the Tandem Super Kong to install a total of 16 piles with diameters varying between 2 meters and 3,2 meters with weights up to 300 tons.

Soil displacement piles (cast in situ), in Holland so called VGS grout injection piles, are being installed for storage tanks.

CAPE Holland Group is contracted for the installation of 16 piles for the Helwin Alpha and Borwin Beta project. A tandem APE 600 is going to install piles with a total length of 96 meters.
