APE Model 170V and 250V teams up in St. Petersburg, Russia
APE Holland delivered two APE Model 170V and one Model 250V variable moment vibratory hammers to a customer in St. Petersburg, Russia.
For driving a kingpile wall, both hammers were needed. The hammers are powered from an APE Model 700V power unit. By supplying one type of power unit for all vibratory hammers, makes it easier to switch hammers between piling rigs.
APE Holland also supplied special leader guiding for the hammers. Our sister company CAPE Holland will supply a Hitachi KH 150-2 GLS piling rig, which will be used with one of the Model 170V hammers.
