The construction company, named Van Kessel, already had to build several bridges in Surinam as a part of the government project "building and rehabilitation of 30 bridges in Surinam".
The currently owned D30 wasn't able to do the job, so they contacted APE Holland for a D46.
Because of the excellent price level and perfect quality fo the APE diesel hammers, it did not take long to decide to purchase the hammer.

Halfway November 2006 APE Holland received an enquiry for a diesel hammer from a construction company in Surinam.The construction company, named Van Kessel, already had to build several bridges in Surinam as a part of the government project "building and rehabilitation of 30 bridges in Surinam".
