APE 200-6 offshore in Vietnam

In the Chinese Sea in Vietnam, APE Holland is working with an APE Model 200-6 with a quad clamp, for mooring pile installation.  

For the mooring pile installation for the Su Tu Vang FSO installation project, the APE 200-6 has to drive 60” piles. The piles have to be driven under water, with a maximum pile penetration below seabed level of 30 meters (98 ft). 
The water depth is 54 meters (175 ft.) max.

With the chosen vibro, the expected penetration was ± 10 meters (32 ft), though the APE vibro drives the piles to a depth of 14 meters (45 ft) easily.

The job is carried out in close cooperation with the CAPE Group, whereas CAPE Holland also sent an operator for driving the piles with the vibro.
